I think that's a great idea! He might not be bothered by it at all and that will be a win-win! And at least you know you can manually test if necessary.

Based on his previous days numbers I'm guessing he's bouncing but no way to tell how low he gets to trigger a bounce.

I think that's a great choice for you and Esse! Sometimes it's genuinely not worth it if you can at least get a good idea without something that tortures both of you. You're actually better off than me given that you at least can sometimes get a manual reading, so you'll have the benefit of being able to confirm any numbers that seems suspicious, which is really helpful.

Something else to keep in mind that I'm not sure if I mentioned here or if it was elsewhere: Here in the US, at least, Abbott is going to be discontinuing the Libre 2 and 3 as of September and we'll all have to move over to the Libre 3+. So just keep that in mind for prescriptions going forward. Also for the US (so disregard if you're not): the cheapest place I could find to get Libres was Costco. They seem to apply the manufacturer and their own coupons automatically and I get them for ~$33 each. I get a pack of 6 at a time which is a big upfront cost, but then I have plenty on hand and they seem to be a little cheaper that away too. I tried to get them at Safeway once and they charged me triple just for one sensor! 😵

We are in the US and have a Costco membership so this is great intel!

I imagine to live on the streets you'd have to be a bully to survive.. and when they come around they are usually the sweetest most loyal trusting souls.
