If you scroll down to the bottom of that page you linked, someone asked a question about the carbs. I also found another answer that mentions as fed and dry matter for the one below. I think most of the premium ones are low carb.Question about Fussie Cat cat food. My local independent pet store is offering this half off, and I'm thinking about getting some flats of it for the clowder, but I'm wondering if y'all think it's LC. Here is a link to one of the flavors: https://www.chewy.com/fussie-cat-premium-tuna-chicken/dp/35823
You definitely dont want to use the one with Xylitol. There are a few places that make compounded Gabapentin without it. This says it only contains Gabapentin, but you could call Chewy to confirm. GabapentinQuestion about Gabapentin: Jude has been prescribed Gabapentin for his FIC. The pharmacist alerted me that their liquid formulation contains Xylitol, which was flagged in their system since Jude is a diabetic. The pharmacist said he could check to see if a liquid formulation without Xylitol is available for order. I decided to try another pharmacy in town, and ran into the same issue. When I'm reading about Xylitol, while it has the problem of being a sweetener, I'm also seeing that it can be toxic to cats. For those of you dosing Gaba, do you get the non-Xylitol formulation?
Thank you! Chewy doesn't deliver this where I live, but I will check with the pharmacy to see if they have a source. My vet also doesn't dispense this as it's a controlled substance, and I'm forced to go to the pharmacy to get it filled. You definitely dont want to use the one with Xylitol.
