Nestle is doing well on the diabetes front. A week after his dental he's back down to his usual numbers without having to adjust the dose (anti-jinx) ️
I'm very happy with how quickly he's recovered but I know he's a fighter

On the other hand we got some unfortunate news yesterday. His nose scab biopsy came back and it's bowenoid in situ carcinoma (skin cancer). We hope it's been detected early enough to fight it. Right now the cells are "in waiting" meaning they're not cancerous yet however we don't have the timeline and we don't know when they could turn cancerous. We've been referred to an oncology clinic in Toronto and are waiting for an appointment. Needless to say I will do whatever I can for my sweet boy. In the meantime we will request all the healing vines we can get.

Also if anyone has any experience with this horrible, ugly disease and has any advice or guidance please let us know.
