AMPS 314 Libre

Another Stinky pinky AMPS today, Yuck!
Ivy had a lovely AM cycle yesterday, I even had to give her some carbs for surfing along.

Fed her 12% dinner and snacks as I went out for dinner. She did bump up while I was out and as soon as I lowered her carbs for snacks at +3, she dropped back down.
Overnight around +5.75 I saw she dropped down in the 50s on her Libre (if the alarm went off I don't recall hearing it! Maybe I was just out cold, its possible!)

She's definitely bouncing today so we will have to see when she recovers from her bounce.

In other news, yesterday we discovered a very young fawn under a bush in my back yard. Of course it became my obsession and I was worried where the mama was (and if she could get back to the baby since I have a fenced yard.

To my happy surprise this morning at 6:30 am, mama was in my yard feeding not one fawn, but 2!
And they seem to be camping out back there, so we are enjoying watching them hang out.
Ivy seems pretty uninterested since she hasn't been at the back door when they were around.

Hope everyone has a safe surf today! 😻

I was obsessed at 6:30 am and just couldn’t stop watching. I had a front row seat from my kitchen. It was just beautiful and so touching to watch them together.
I felt so fortunate to see it up close 🦌❤️🥰
That's incredible! It would make me so happy!

My partner's office is in a place that gets a ton of wildlife traffic (including lots of deer and fawns, turkeys, foxes, raccoons, hares, turtles, bats, hawks, lizards and newts, etc). The building has tons of big reflective windows so if the lights are off and you don't move, they don't know you're there and they'll just come right up to the windows. Once in a while I'll spend the day there and it always feels like such a special experience to get to sit and watch them all! Not in my own backyard, but I totally understand the wonder. It makes me so happy.

ETA: Not as young as your sweet babies but I just had to share my favorite picture I've ever taken! 🥹

Awww those babies and their mama are so wonderful. And how lucky you get to enjoy this from your kitchen window. Hopefully they're frequent visitors from meow on.

Looks like Ivy was a flat pancake kitty but I feel she's gonna keep you up tonight. Hopefully I'm wrong and you're able to get some sleep
😴 🤗❤️🥰

Wow, I need your crystal ball!!!🔮
You were spot on.
2:30 am wake up alert 😬
I got about 4 hours of sleep before that. None since the wake up.
Ivy got lots of snacks and I got no sleep.
She was snoring between snacks 😻

The deer were really fun to watch. Mama wandered around my yard all day eating all my flowers. 😘
DH was not amused with that aspect 😔

There’s one stray baby across the street under a bush. I don’t think mama went to feed that one as I don’t think she left my yard.
I’m contemplating moving that baby to my yard. (I must be nuts) 🤨

Oh my that’s a beauty, Brianna.
That sounds like an amazing experience to get to see all that wildlife through those big windows ❤️
