I was so sure today was going to be active (slightly lower yellow PS, and he was in the 180s and dropping fast shortly later), but so far that seems to have been a fluke. 🤔 I know we're supposed to hold a tad longer if we're seeing any green and technically we got a single green the other night, but I assumed that was probably depot action after the decrease. This is cycle 6, so if there's no action today should I increase, or wait a bit longer? ETA: As expected, he pulled out some greens at the last minute, so I didn't increase. 😊

Last night Xander found a giant twist-tie and has been excitedly playing with it since, carrying it around and dropping it for us. This morning when I woke up it was next to me on the bed, like he'd brought it to ask me to play while I was asleep. 🥹 So nice to see him playing!! He doesn't seem to want us to throw it though (like our kitty we lost a couple years ago, who loved fetch), because he looks so offended if we do. His face is like "Um, rude? Why would you throw it? I just brought it to you." Seems like maybe he wants praise for capturing his prey instead. 🤣

Happy Friday! Tomorrow's going to be busier than usual for me so I'm not positive I'll make it in, but I'll try. Hope everyone has a great Saturday! 💚💚💚

Awwww...how sweet that he shares his toy with you 💗🫶💗 So precious!

Unfortunately, my cats can't have 'toys' like that, especially the triples. They. eat. everything. Including the strings in the window blinds (which they then pooped in poop-on-a-rope fashion :D (I just thank God it all passed)).

The threat of an increase is out there, Xander! (Good luck with the decision, Brianna.)

It is really sweet!! 🥹 So cute.

Aww really? Xander does also eat everything he can find and he doesn't have many toys because he either tries to eat it, tries to figure out how it works instead of playing with it (like those automatic laser toys), or just ignores it. He does love twist ties though and doesn't eat those, thankfully. I have to be really careful if I crochet or anything though because he'll eat stray yarn before I can blink. 🙄 It's so good that they're able to pass the strings! So often those get tangled up in their GI tract and can be really dangerous! That'd stress me out so much.

Thanks, Mary! He's in the mid-to-low 100s now, so we may just see a green yet today. 🧐

I spy a green 😻 And just like that, whenever you're thinking of making a switch and holding out a littleeee longer, there he goes!
Hope he has a good surf tonight! And maybe, just maybe, he can hold that and repeat in his PM cycle. But either way, we'll take this for now 💚💙

Hi Brianna. I am happy to see Xander gave you some green today 💚
I love to hear that he was playful! I had a cat that love to play with twist ties too 🥰
Wishing you both a restful calm night and safe surf! 🤗😻

Last second activity is just his style now! I guess he's becoming a bit more predictable which is really great.

It's looking like he's gonna bounce tonight despite those only high greens but like you said, I'll take it!

The twist ties are apparently a big hit! lol The cat habit of ignoring real toys and beds in favor of the most random stuff. 🤣

Thank you, Madeline! Have a great night and safe surfing for Butch! 💚💚💚🤗

What a cutie. It's so adorable when they bring their toys to us.
Peanut plays fetch sometimes also but needs to be in the right mood.
Happy Furrrrrriday 🐱 💕🐾✨
It's adorable! I love that Peanut does that too! 🥹 What is Peanut's fetch toy of choice?

Ninja was our other kitty and she was so good about going to get the toy and bringing it all the way back to us, even if it meant carrying it all the way back up the stairs. She had this one little sushi toy that was her favorite from kitten to little old lady.

Happy Friday, Karolina! 🥰

Aww what a cute story about Ninja 🥷 🐱
Peanut's toy of choice is this little fake piece of grass. I had this grass mat and he ripped out all the grass pieces. So I saved them all for him. I'll see if I can find an old video of him playing.

My mom's kitty loves twist-ties and specifically loves depositing them in her water bowl (or losing them under the fridge). No fetch, just collect and bat around, lol. The only thing she loves more than a twist-tie is the plastic strip you pull off a milk jug when you open it.

He does that too (depositing it in the water or food dish)! They're so funny. I'm sure Xander'd love the milk jug rings too if we had milk! He also likes (of all things), straws.
