Yep, it's official. This is not a fasting sugar in the am.
I have been sick the past few days and waking up just a bit late and she goes searching for other food.
It may only be a few bites but I think these are not fasting. the other kitties also get an mc food 12 carbs. she may be getting into that--but she also has thrown up the past 2 mornings - which makes me think she did eat some. Her tummy is pretty finicky. but no dry is out anymore. not even the Mature Zero.
So, back to the drawing board a bit. I try to keep her on raw and fancy feast. I also keep it up away from the others so she can eat when she feels the need.
She gets her raw rabbit and a full can of fancy feast at night. So maybe a little more raw at night. she is on rabbit with fortiflora. i will try adding a little turkey or chicken at night.
She also gets raw rabbit in the am with the freeze-dried rabbit--she is not a fan of the freeze-dried.
I feel we still are heading down the right track for a decrease in a couple more days.
