Butch surfed yesterday blue and yellow with an AMPS pink this morning. He slid into the yellow with a dip in the blue.

I noticed today that Butch was using the litter box more often with small amounts of urine, so we went to the vet office.
Butch usually has pretty big urine amounts and it's always so loud that you hear him when he's peeing.
During his physical exam, the vet said he felt bladder stones. A urinalysis was sent out. The results should be back on Monday.
I am so nervous about my boy. Paws crossed

Oh Madeline, so sorry to read this. Hope the doctor can get him some relief soon. Did they give him anything in the meantime to keep him comfortable? Sending both of you big hugs 🤗 and loads of healing vines and hope that Butch feels better soon. 💕

Small urine amts can also mean a uti. I hope it’s that and not stones. I know NOTHING about stones or its treatment; will consult Dr. Google. Keep us posted, Madeline. Sweet Butch, hang in there, bud.

Butch made less trips to the litter pan today and his pee amount were more his norm 🙏

Me too. I so grateful that I work remote. He was acting normal pestering me for his +2 & +3 snack. It was just unusual for him to keep going back to litter box. I went and checked thinking maybe he's constipated, and he needed MiraLAX, but I saw little dripples of urine. Every time after that it was small amount of clumped litter.

Today he seems to be using the litter box less and his pee amount are more norm 🙏

The doctor didn't seem to think Butch needed anything and said to wait for the results before starting him on an antibiotic.
He has been eating well. Today he didn't go to the litter box so often and his urine amounts are more of his norm. 🙏

That's what I am thinking, UTI. I am hoping just an antibiotic is needed. Today, he didn't go to the litter box has often and his urine amounts were more norm.🙏
I had a kitty that had bladder crystals that had to go on special diet c/d for period of time, and they cleared up.

Me too, I hope it is an antibiotic that can make him feel well quickly. It breaks my heart seeing him so mushy.
