We’re excited to announce that the community is moving back to the FelineDiabetes.com forum!

Why the change?

Back in May, we created the .org forum because the original .com site’s administrator was sick and unable to respond. At that time, the .com forum was broken, so we set up .org as a temporary but reliable home for the community.

Since then, we’ve been able to reconnect with the original administrator and arrange the transfer of the .com domain and forum files. This allowed us to modernize and upgrade that site so it’s stable and ready to support us for years to come.

Another important factor: the .com forum already holds over 3 million posts, compared to about 20,000 posts here on .org. Moving back ensures the community’s full history and knowledge base are preserved in one place.

The .org forum will remain available as a read-only archive so no content will be lost. But going forward, all new discussions and support will happen on .com. Once we get through this transition, the need to visit .org should be minimal.

Timeline for the change

Starting August 25th, 2025, the .org forum will switch to read-only mode. Between now and then, we encourage you to create or update your account on FelineDiabetes.com and get settled in.

Had an account on .com before?
  • You can simply log in with your existing .com account.
  • If you’ve forgotten your password, use the reset option on the login page.
  • When you post for the first time, include a link to your last .org thread so everyone has the full picture.
  • And update your signature.
Never had an account on .com?
  • You’ll need to create a new account on FelineDiabetes.com to participate.
  • None of the posts, accounts or messages from .org will transfer over.
  • When you make your first post on .com, please include a link back to your .org thread so others can see your cat’s history.
  • And copy over your signature.
We’re excited to continue growing this community on FelineDiabetes.com, building on years of shared knowledge, and most importantly, helping more cats live healthier lives. Thank you for being part of this move and for the support you show each other every day.

Tim, Once again, thank you 🙏 so much for all you've done to keep this VITAL resource going for us and our sugar babies during this time of flux. I can't imagine the amount of time and effort you've invested in this community over the past few months, but we greatly appreciate you and your ongoing service. I look forward to seeing everyone back on .com. Also, I've already checked on .com, and the cute, old smilies are all still there, and the modern emojis are all updated!! 😻 💃
