6/24 Trixie AMPS 119, PMPS 113

[Kat & Trixie]

Trixie’s been a big o’l pancake the last few days which is a bit unusual for her. Numbers aren’t going up but they’re not going down either.

I have some theories:

A bit of an irritated bladder since the cysto at the vet clinic. I heard her growling as she was cleaning up after a visit to the litter box yesterday and she was a loaf most of the day and no energy. Better today on that front though.

New food introduced, I’ve completely removed FF from the menu. Thankfully, she likes the Weruva Wx and it’s supposed to be very low carb?

Insulin is almost done, maybe it’s loosing steam?

I’ll give her a couple more days and will either change out the insulin or bump her up when I can monitor her a bit more.

Thank you, Mary It was clear but I know her bladder was tiny and they had to use the ultrasound to get a sample so I’m sure that had to be a bit irritating.

Ps - Jude is doing amazing!! Fingers crossed he keeps up the wonderful work.

Are you using a vial of insulin or are you using the pens?
I like using the pens because I feel like if for some reason you feel they are losing steam, you could switch to a new pen and you’re not losing the rest of a vial.
Then you’re not losing a larger quantity and expense.

Hi Staci, I use pen refill cartridges. Her numbers did come down last night so that’s good. Sometimes putting the threat of an increase out there is enough to get things moving.

She’s in a great loving mood this morning and seems to be feeling better

I'm so glad she seems to be feeling better this morning! Hope it stays that way and she keeps making her way back down to the gentle greens.
