Been a busy few days and haven't had time to check in! So sorry.

This specific Libre that I've had to place in a different spot than usual has been so annoying. Going in and out of "sensor error" mode often and sometimes for extended periods, so I can't always see what's going on. Sometimes it shows one thing, goes into SE, then comes back up way higher. But it's better than nothing and I'm doing my best. Can't wait til his skin heals so I can put it back in its usual reliable spot. (For the record, it is never otherwise like this. It's not that Libres are "bad" or "unreliable," it's just that this one unfortunately has to be in a crappy spot for now.)

Yesterday while I was out running errands my partner had to handle a LO for me, so that was new. I didn't reduce last night because it was only cycle 4 since my last reduction (which I was told last time was still within the timeframe of possible depot action and would thus be a back-to-back reduction, which we don't take). He had a nicely active PM cycle (which we basically never see). He does seem to be dropping steeply right now (262 to 194 in a little under an hour), so it may be a stressful day. Or it may pop back up and show that he wasn't actually dropping steeply. We'll see. lol (Edit at +1: yep, wasn't a big drop.)

Gonna try to go catch up on condos. I hope everyone is doing well! 💜

OMG! Just read back on everything you and Xander have been going through. When he ripped that sensor off, it really went south, I'm so sorry!! Hope he's healing okay - sending all the vines 🤗 Also, as shameful as the flower cone may be, he does look so sweet in it 🥹

Glad he wasn't dropping too low today. You need a break!! And I hope this sensor lasts you, so frustrating seeing those SE messages and not being able to do anything.

Sending you both lots of love Brianna! You’re doing an amazing job while limping along with lots of errors due to the placement situation of the sensor.
Hopefully, as he heals, you’ll be able to go back to your normal spots and everything will be much better 🙏

How’s he doing with his adorable flower power cone of shame? Poor baby.
I hope he’s not struggling with wearing it ❤️‍🩹
Hugs for both of you today 😻🥰🫂💕

Thanks, Briana. 💜 Yeah, it's been a rough go of it since we tried to give him a break from the wrap. Fortunately things are at least better than they were - just dying to get back to normal!

He does look very cute in the flower cone, though by now he's gotten it pretty dirty. 😅 I want to try to wipe it down with like Dawn but it's right in his face and I don't want him to have to smell that. If I had a backup I'd swap it to wash it, but I can't get another right now, unfortunately.

Thank you, Staci!! I'm trying! Hopefully this'll all be over soon. ❤️‍🩹

He doesn't love it, but I think he's actually used to it at this point! Doesn't bother him nearly as much as anything else, at least. His biggest "struggle" is that he can't scratch his neck or wash his face, so his face is pretty itchy now. I try to gently scratch those spots for him. (The saga of the traveling itchiness, which is how this all started in the first place lol)

Hugs for you and Ivy! 🫂💖🌺

Oh what an ordeal...as if there's not enough 'normal' stress with FD~ the SS looks better though. Hope Xander surfs safely overnight and the sensor issue is resolved soon! HUGS! 🤗
Thanks, Christine! It started out so simple and turned into such a huge thing. 🙄 His numbers are a little all over the place, but at least not as high a few days ago!

I hope you're able to get your poor guy willing to deal with no kibble... I can't imagine how hard it is to hear him yowling for it. 😩 One way that I got lucky is that Xander preferred the wet food immediately.

I can just imagine everything he gets into ends up around the cone 😂 hopefully he’s okay with it until he heals and then you can give it a good wash!
