Amps 246 Libre

Mostly flat yellow Libre day yesterday with a few blue sprinkles. Gave a smidge increase today to 2.25 Fat units.

At +2 she’s dipping already 😳
Hope she surfs nicely and safely, I need groceries today

So far poops seem a little soft but hanging in (anti jinx) and paws crossed it’s all ok with her poops 💩🙏

Activated her new Libre this morning, hoping it purrs along nicely.
Need to remove the old one which takes longer than applying a new one. (Have to go slowly and just take your time. She just gets annoyed having to be still for 8-10 minutes). I can’t blame her 😻

Yep, it can be any hour wait (1,2,3,4,5, etc) up to 12. Sometimes the sensor works again. Sometimes it shuts down. Praying it decides to work again🙏

Just ear pricked her (had to wrestle her out from under my clothes in my closet)

Contour meter was 72 (so it makes sense the Libre is “stressed”.
She would definitely be reading Lo, if the sensor was reading.

The sensor doesn’t like being in very low numbers for hours on end. Since it’s made for a human, I believe that the sensor has a safety feature in place that it probably “thinks” the sensor isn’t working properly and it shuts itself down.

I’ve seen it happen before 😫

Ivy is a busy bee 🐝 again.
I guess she just wants to kept her mama home with her. Who needs groceries anyways ?!?!?!?!

Hopefully she settles on the beach and stays there safe and sound with Nestle. No scuba diving today Ivy.

Sorry the Libre is acting out. It seems stressful having to dral with it especially when the kitty is dropping. Good thing you're able to somehow test her manually.

Well, now she’s tucked herself under a dresser so that if I wanted to get to her, I couldn’t.

I just keep shoving food under the dresser and letting her eat it so that she can keep herself coasting along 😳

You’re right, who needs groceries? Now I’m gonna have to go to the store over the weekend when there’s 8 million other people. It’s my dread that’s why I try to do it on Fridays when it’s a little bit quieter before all the loonies are out in force 🤬

Hope you and the boys are doing well and having a calm, relaxing weekend ahead 💕🐈😻🐈
 
Aww, Staci, I'm so sorry. I know what those days are like. 😩 So miserable. And how convenient that it likes to do this when they're low, so we're blind. And when we had things we needed to go take care of!

I've never actually gotten the "check back in ___ hours" error on the Libre 3, only on the 2. When mine's like this it always just says "sensor error" and then stays that way for however long (sometimes hours, but not more than a couple except for rare occasions).

I'm glad you were able to manually test at least once to see that she's low but not too low. Yet. 😬

I'm sorry for all the stress. Wish I could give you a big hug. 🫂 💜💜💜

I’m glad she was a nice green but she still shut down the sensor. Tells me she’s still lower or it would have come back.

At least it was nothing dire I needed to do and her safety comes first.
Soooo, you should just see me sticking food under the dresser. It’s sort of comical, and she sticks her little head out to lick it.

Do you ever have the sensor come back earlier than it says, or come back higher? Just curious.

I bet it is a little funny! It's extra frustrating though when everything else is already going on if you then also can't get to them. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Yes, I have had it come back earlier (and have also had them shut down).
And she’s being a stinker and made herself a little ball under the dresser 😫

Yes I’ve seen this before, but not for so long.

And she’s never stayed under the dresser before! 😜
She’s now moved to my closet for a change of scenery. Silly cat. 🐱
 
Sorry Staci for the bad day. I had mine yesterday. New sensor and deep dive , plus he didn’t really want to eat. Had to finally give a little syrup. And now he’s bouncing sky high. At least the sensor didn’t go out like yours,tg.
Fingers crossed it comes back up soon and that Miss Ivy gets lonely and comes out.
They always know the worst times don’t they! Hugs
 
Pmps was 237 on Contour handheld. Since I wasn’t really sure what went on all day I took her dose back down to 2.25+ (smidge) and magically the Libre started back up 8 hours after it shut down.

What a day 😩🤯

Hoping to get back to a calmer cycle for Ivy.

I’m so sorry you and Tiger had a bad day yesterday. I’m glad you didn’t lose the sensor. What a nasty complication.

You were right, she did eventually want some hugs and she joined me on my bed 🥰
