7/1 Jack: 192@amps, 169@+2 - holding 6u

Jack's been doing ok on this dose, so (paws crossed) he decides to do a little more with it. I hate changing anything, it's rare we get sustained blue/green action, even if they are on the higher end of the zones. Plus, the loud, annoying holiday approaches, and I have no clue what the locals will be blowing up. I have the ACs on but it's the vibrations that seem to bother Jack, rather than the noise. Some of his brothers and sisters are bothered by both the noise and the energy, and the older, deafer, blinder ones just sleep through most of if. I don't see how blowing stuff up = independence. Yeah, I'm that crankpot! Excuse me while I go yell at some kids to get off my lawn.....Safe and peaceful surfing kitties!

I'm a huge 4th of July Grinch! To make matters worse (at least to my Grinch-y perspective) fireworks are illegal in my town, yet the police don't enforce the law, and my neighbors think they are Disney at 9:00 p.m. on the 4th. Last year I ended up with firework debris on the roof of my house! The absolute worse, of course, is the awful fear and anxiety that the cats experience. This year I'm giving them all a dose of a supplement that contains l-tryptophan, which is a relaxant. I'm not sure if it will do any good or not.

Anyhoo, I digress. Jack saw some NICE greens last night. I hope he brings it back down for you today!

We get our fireworks today (Canada Day), but that doesn't stop the idiots from starting early. I heard one really loud one yesterday at 7:00AM! I'm sure that endeared the neighbours next door. Yes, fireworks illegal here too, people sneak them across the border. 😠

Keep an eye on the nadirs, they seem to be drifting up. Higher nadirs typically means the higher numbers are more so too. Come on Jack, how about some nice 80's for us.

Sending QUIET July 4th vines your way! Hoping we can all have some quiet for our kitties who do not like the noise!
Stupid need to blow stuff up!
I hope Jack has a nice mellow surf, Christine 💚🏄‍♂️💙🌊

I'm old, over busy, and not in the mood for stupidity any more....I've officially turned into my Nana! LOL! On the nadirs, I will, but yesterday he threw a 63 at me, so hold the dose for now? I did this morning even though he is on a slight bounce and 5 pieces of kibble high since I had an urgent work meeting I had to go to (his timing STINKS worse than the litterbox!) Hope your loud days are done now!

They were recently legalized in the state (idiots 🤬 ) but in my housing development, they are supposedly illegal- since we live in the middle of a forest! But, security does NOTHING! I've had the same problem with stuff on the roof---so inconsiderate! It's gonna be a long weekend---I'm doing an extended rain dance! Hope it stays quiet by you! Interested in the tryptophan supplement....maybe I'll just cook a turkey and we will all nap!

I know I'm late, but I just wanted to reply to this because same. Stupid holiday and extra stupid fireworks. We used to have a "safe & sane" fireworks law but after the really awful fires in recent years we voted to make them all illegal. People still use them in the dry 100° heat because apparently making a loud boom that not only causes intense distress for animals and people with PTSD but can easily cause fires that destroy thousands of people's homes is... worth it? Idiots. I can't express the rage I feel for people who give that little thought to everyone around them. Like both of your cases, though, no one enforces it. 😡 (For reference, I'm in Northern California. The Tubbs fire in 2017 was in the city I had lived in the year before and is about 15 minutes away from where I am now. Spread 4 counties, killed 22 people, destroyed over 5,600 structures. At the time it was the deadliest wildfire in CA history. Now that mantle is taken by the Camp fire, a couple hours away. 153k acres, killed 85 people, destroyed over 18,000 structures. I literally cannot fathom thinking that risk is worth a stupid sparkly noisemaker.)

I cannot believe they don't enforce the law in such a dry environment where fires are not just possible, but where they have actually occurred, causing such terrible damage. Crazy!

It's insane and it makes me so mad lol I mean if they actively see it happening they'll stop it, but from what I can tell if you call to report it, unless you have clear video evidence of it happening, they just don't care.

I'm glad he redeemed himself! I'm not sure what your custom dosing is, but a signature of IAA is what I called "the dose getting stale" signalled by nadirs drifting up.
Custom dosing, I should change, prior to the IAA we were trying to adapt so I wasn't strict with the SLGS and he was ineligible for the TR because of the kibble. I need to go read the TR stuff again now that there is no kibble, minus emergencies, we may be able to switch to that method. Thanks for your continued support and input!

I'm always amazed at the level of stupid the human race is capable of. You would think that all of the damage you mention would wake people up, but really, I think it comes down to being selfish. People (generalizing- present company excluded) can't seem to recognize the range of conditions for both people and animals you mention because they can't see past their own immediate and petty desires. And not for anything, but considering how close we just came to WW3 (and still are, IMO) you would think folks would not want to hear loud and screeching noises culminating in a huge explosion. I hope this year is different for you...and all of us. 🙏

Absolutely agreed on every point!! 🤝🏻 Sigh.
