Glad to see she gave you some nice blues last night; I hope you were able to get some much-needed rest.
Good luck with the reduction! Safe surfs, Ivy!! Have a lovely day, Staci!

10 hours, hoooooly cow. 😩 I can't even imagine. You're a super hero, Staci!

It looks like she's actually not bouncing that badly (anti-jinx). Best of luck with the reduction!

Give Miss Ivy loves from us! 💚💚💚
Yea, it was A LOT yesterday. Thanks, Brianna!
She's not too bad today, considering the stretch yesterday,
Thanks for the love, sending it back you you and Xander 🐱😻

Amps 162 Libre

Very active day yesterday in the am cycle after very active pm cycle Tuesday night. 10 hours of feeding snacks to keep her up. Whew 😬

Gave a reduction last night to 2.5 units. Will see how she does.

Hoping for a calm day. I’m still catching up after Tuesday night’s no sleep 😫
Back to work this morning.

Have a calm day everyone 😻
She definitely earned that reduction. Come down easy, Ivy but not too much. ☺️ 🤗

Hi @Staci & Ivy -- how do you apply your libre? Do you use super glue, tissue glue, or neither?
Hey Mady,

I'm not the person you asked, but as another fulltime Libre user: never use glue (of any kind). It's very harsh on the kitty's delicate diabetic skin, and the glue can and will drown the filament and end the sensor early. All you need is to prep the skin well (shave, clean with alcohol wipes) and use Skin Tac, which is just barrier to protect the skin and not actually a glue. As long as everything is prepped well and in a good spot where the skin isn't constantly folding/pulling on it, it should stay in place for the full time. You can also use Tegaderm over the top (which I've never done), or a pet/baby shirt over it, or even a self-adhesive bandage wrap, which is what I use. Since I started this routine I haven't lost a single one early from falling off or anything similar. I hope that helps!

I also just posted really detailed instructions on another condo yesterday if it'd be helpful to read that.
