Missed a day again.
My partner was home for a long weekend and we don't often have much time together, so I wasn't around here much. I hope everyone had a nice weekend (and if in the US, a long one!)
"Glad I didn't increase" seems to be the theme lately, as Xander keeps me waiting until the exact moment I might switch up the dose before showing more activity. I guess that leads me to believe that this is a good dose for him, but he's still dealing with bounces (so some cycles look inactive). I could be misinterpreting that, but that's what it looks like to me. We've had greens for the past 2 days with a nice stretch of them yesterday afternoon.
I'm still concerned about the way he tends to be flat yellow overnight. I wish I could have some definitive answer as to whether it's overnight bounces, or if it's absorption issues. I've been kind of experimenting by injecting into different spots of his little shaved area (top or bottom of it, rather than in the middle). It hasn't seemed to make much difference. The flank is the only place he's ever allowed injections and I don't want to have to do both on the same side because he's so sensitive that that soreness will make him not let me near him.
I don't think it could be anything other than those two options; his routine at night is essentially the same as in the morning. If anything, he seems like he'd be lower at night because I'm not always able to stay up all the way to the +3 snack, and end up having to give him +2, +3 and his overnight snack all at once to graze on (which sometimes he doesn't even do). I'm hoping it's just bounces and that if so he'll at some point stop doing it. Please? Please stop doing it? lol
Have a nice day, everyone.
Here's a couple pictures from our morning snuggle sesh yesterday.
