Glad to be rebuilding our community! Thank you SO much, Tim!

Got a tricky/sticky situation with Pete's dose. DBF was on care duty today and pulled a 65 at +8 he tested again and got a 260. I got home and tested a 179.... so I am guessing that 65 could have been right. He knows now to test a third time when there is such a huge swing like that.

I did drop him to pre-surgery dose this morning cause I had a feeling he was gonna come crashing down based on the blues he got last night. I decided to hold the 3u tonight just in case the 260 was right... could be a late one.

My little man slept on the couch with me all night, like legit spooning hahaha. I guess he was pretty alert and active today so we are still moving in the right direction. He still smells like a barn animal, but I don't think it's infection. His lips and gums that I can see look like a nice healthy pink. Still keeping an eye out for infection. Today is Day 6!
 
"barn animal"...poor Petey! You know he's probably embarrassed by all that stinkiness, and it will be good when he can get himself together.

Glad to see he's getting back to normal numbers, but that 65!! That's a drop!

I'm trying my best to keep him cleaned up and he knows that, he's just prideful and very stubborn... he really needs some shampoo and that just is not happening right now or maybe ever. :oops:

lol. I know what you mean. Feels so “exposed” 😎 on FB. We have our own “way” of doing things.

🤣🤣🤣 very, very true. And on the couch, so he's not alone downstairs!

It was a rough one, for sure. Thank you for the well wishes. Looking forward to some Bell pics and hearing how she's been doing.
