Two furshot mornings in a row................. ughhhhhhhhhhhhhh. How does it come out all the way on the other side of the neck?! I even broke the rules and gave him an extra 1.5u on the furshot yesterday. This morning there wasn't as much wetness so I don't think I'll do that. Better safe than sorry. This is really driving me nuts though.

Going to reread all the stickies on shooting...

Hoping everyone else is having dry sticks and safe surfs!

Aww, bummer. That always sucks. Don't be too hard on yourself though, you'll get the hang of it!

Have you tried shaving a spot so that you can see the needle enter the skin? It looks a little goofy, but that made a huge difference for me! I also use 6mm needles so they're very short; it'd be hard to go through-and-through unless I were pinching a really small spot.

I have talked about shaving injection spots but my boyfriend didn't want him to look ugly.... who cares?! this ain't a beauty contest! I think he shall be visiting the beauty parlor today :ROFLMAO:

My syringes are 8mm. I have two more boxes of needles, but when I am through them I'll get the 6 next time. Thank you for the suggestions.

It doesn't even have to be a big spot! I feel like with a lighter-toned kitty like Egon it'd be even less noticeable than it is on Xander. But like you said, who cares?! Insulin is more important than not having a 1 inch bald spot. lol

No problem! I'm using the cheap ReliOn ones from Walmart, but they only come in 6mm now so that's what I get. I ended up liking them a lot more than the 8!
