Phoebe is 91 this am. spoke with Bhooma and gave full dose of insulin 3.25units. will check in +1. and see where she goes.

Leaving Monday am - caregiver will come and give insulin without testing while gone (back late friday night). I made all plans back in February for trip, otherwise I would cancel. She relapsed in March..... dosing

I didn't see your tag, not sure if they are working over here?

With that green this morning, I night think about going back to 3.0 units as your vacation dose. Plus it's much easier for the petsitter to draw. Any reason the petsitter won't draw insulin? It's not recommended to predraw syringes. You can fill a sample syringe with coloured liquid (pop, juice) to show what the dose is.
 
If you start the vacation dose of 3U tomorrow morning (Saturday), by Sunday night you will get an idea of what she is doing on this dose and whether the vacation dose needs to be lower. Looks like the removal of the dry food (even low carb) has helped!
