Really high last night! Seems like he's finally coming back down as of late today though. He may still need an increase, but I feel like we were doing increasingly well on this dose until the skin catastrophe, so I think that whole situation is at fault for the pinks. I'm hoping this means that his irritation is improving and that he's less stressed.
Hopefully tomorrow we'll see even better numbers. He definitely seems more comfortable in this cone than the last one, even if he still doesn't like it. I've been giving him extra gaba (100mg BID instead of 75) to help keep him calm. Amazingly, he hasn't gotten out of the cone yet; not sure if that's because he can't or because he hasn't tried.
Yesterday not long after I posted I went to check on him on his perch to make sure he wasn't trying to get it off and caught a couple of the cutest pics I've ever gotten of him. He sure looks comfy (or just exhausted lol)

It’s like he has a built in pillow. I hope he heals up soon and has a gentle slide down.
