Good evening
Late post today but I was flying.
I just wanted to take a moment and acknowledge everyone who posted on my condo yesterday. Thank you for all the advice and support and most importantly the laughs.
I really appreciate it all. Knowing this family understands the struggle and gives support to anyone who needs it, means so much.
And once again thank you @Tim & Pookey for creating this and giving us an opportunity to voice our concers and share our experiences every day ❤️ 😻 ❤️🥰✨

I was reading and following along yesterday, and feel the same way as everyone does. One thing I’ll say is we switched vets recently and I’m happy, new vet doesn’t know FD like we do, but listens and answers any general questions I have. But I know time is a factor for the dental so maybe a little more complicated for you.

I’m happy folks have embraced this board in the interim. We’ve got a great community 🤗
 
I missed yesterday’s post and omg!! Everything you described just made me so upset, I do not like this vet. I’m so sorry you experienced that 😔 Seconding everything everyone said (especially Maddie haha), just plain terrible and it puts you in such a difficult spot. Definitely trust your gut on this one, you know Nestle best and you’re his biggest advocate!

I did just make the same call you’re contemplating now and the switch has so far felt right (there are definitely trade-offs but at the very least I feel heard and considered) - but it’s always a risk. I wish I could recommend my vet for you, but I’m guessing he’s too far because he’s right downtown. Also, I haven’t been with them long enough to truly know how it’ll work out.

I think you’re right, Nestle will bounce back from a NS if you need to, to keep him safe. I wish they’d honour the price they quoted you. I don’t know how much they’re charging now, but I can share what my quote was if a local comparison would be helpful.
