? 4/8/25-PHOEBE-sugars still better-need help with vacation dosing

Haven't learned how to tag every one in here yet to their names
Bhooma, DianeTylersMom, Tiffmaxee,
Leaving early Monday 5/12, am 0400 getting back late Friday, 16th, 1000pm. 5 full days.
Have a person to come give meds, insulin, and food. Does not check sugars. does not draw up insulin. I will draw up insulin for the doses needed. I draw up extras if I get delayed. She knows not to give extra doses if she does a fur shot.
I have shown her what to look for if Phoebe is low. I have rescue moderate carb food cans in place and karo syrup.
She has cared for her and my other furbabies in the past. She is very conscientious.

Please check spreadsheet for numbers.
Looking for help on dosing with her numbers getting more under control finally.

I also have 60 of the U-40 insulin syringes ---I want to get them out of the house. I am in the Kenosha, WI area. they are free. Or do we have a section we can advertise them?

There's a Supply Closet forum here but since few FDMB members have made it over here and this is only really supposed to be a back up board for Lantus users, probably not ideal to post here. If you're on the FB group, maybe post them there? Or contact Diabetic Cats In Need.
 
bhooma is also responding to this. +3 she is 126 i gave her 1 tsp tuna -- i will stay up for a +4 and then leave food out for the night for her to nibble

She isn't dipping very low on this dose yet. Let's see if the removal of dry food makes a big difference to her numbers in the next couple of days. We could take a call on Saturday about the vacation dose.
