Leroy was exhausted after his trip to the vet yesterday so he only woke me up after my alarm clock went off. I guess I was supposed to have given him 2 gabapentin capsules but I was reading his discharge paperwork from last week and it said one so that's what I gave him 🤦‍♀️The vet was still able to check his eye without much difficulty. He has drops for his eye now instead of the ointment. He needs a recheck in a week.

Crumbis is still breathing a bit heavy but she's not making loud congested noises anymore. She mostly just rests in a hammock. Hopefully the new meds work 🤞

Thanks, Staci!

The vet who did the eye exam was someone who was doing a rotation with my vet. That explains why my vet was able to pop into the exotic ward. The vet who dealt with Leroy happened to be the same vet who managed his care last June when I brought him to the ER for his hissing spitting cranky p-itis episode. I guess that was her ER rotation. She remembered us. Next week our vet has a different vet on rotation.

I didn't have time to nebulize Crumbis this morning. I'll do it later today.

I'm glad that both Leroy and Crumbis seem to be doing better! Sending all the healing vines for things to keep going in this direction!

You sure have a lot on your plate with multiple sick babies. If you ever feel like sharing pics of all your ratties, I would love to see them! 🥹

OH. MY. GOSH. Look at those babies!! They're so cute! And their names are so cute.
I hope Crumbis gets better 🐀🤗 Now that I see her, I feel that I can know her.
I know nothing about rats except that they are smart. Do Leroy and Emma show 'interest' in the rats?
Also, can you post a picture of Emma, too?

Look at all those babies 😍

I'm glad you got good reports today! Kai and are are sending our thoughts, prayers, and a ton of healing energy to you and your fur babies! ❤️
