5/17 Noogi - AMPS 97, +4 95, +7 83 -p'titis day #3

Yesterday

Hope everyone is having a good Caturday so far.

Happy to report that Noogi is continuing to improve 😸

He ate well last night, including all his nighttime snacks. Had a modest breakfast, but enough that I knew I could give him his insulin safely.

This morning he went in for more fluids and cerenia. I have gabapentin for tonight.
I check in with the vet again tomorrow, but he doesn't think he will need any more treatment.

His BG has been in the greens, which I am hugely relieved about. Going to stick with 0.5u dose for now and see how it goes.

Noogi's 'godmother' (one of my good friends) came to visit and he was so happy to see her, and got all the pets. He is definitely feeling better.
Here he is catching a sunbeam earlier.

What a good report, Helen! I'm so glad he's continuing to improve and that his numbers are so good!
I'm really surprised at his numbers as he's eaten quite a lot of MC and HC foods yesterday and today. I bought a few tins of i/d Digestive Care as vet said he should have plain food for a while longer. I know the info on the FDMB pancreatitis info page says the low-fat diet recommendation is not applicable to cats, but he hasn't wanted much of his usual food, which is on the fatter side, so I thought I may as well offer him the i/d, and he's eaten that today. It's really high carb but not even a blip on his BG. It's very strange!
