5/19 Esse AMPS 286 +4 361 +5 315 +6 346 +7 396 PMPS 394 +2 373

Last thread (5/17)!

On Saturday we were out of the house from like 2 to 8pm, and I suspect the cat didn't eat after 2 until his PM shot meal (not a fan of eating alone)--could that have caused that lower number (129)? We thought about shooting anyway but were so tired from being out in the sun all day and knew we wouldn't be able to be awake long enough to monitor him. We've talked about PM cycle tests every night last week but have yet to run into a nice situation where we're awake but he's asleep at 11 or midnight.

@Mary & Jude asked "Have you considered a strategy for dose increase?" and I think we're wondering the same thing. Do we have enough mid-cycle data to warrant a dose increase now, even without a full curve?

Any chance of getting some PM tests before you got to bed, if it's at least 2 hours after the PMPS shot? Without that data, we are only guessing how low Esse is going on this dose. I could test Neko when she was asleep, and she'd turn over and go right back to sleep (after eating her post test treat). Cats can do that, I wouldn't worry about disturbing his sleep to test.

But you have been on this dose for 15-16 days now, minus some fur or missed shots. Other than the PM data, the day time data is telling you that he could use an increase.

Yes, we will continue to try for PM cycle tests! We're not worried about disturbing his sleep at all, we've just been waiting for a time where he IS asleep two or three hours after his PM shot. He's sooo much easier to test asleep!

Edit: Not sure if it's relevant but he usually eats nighttime snacks around PM +1 or +2, +5 or +6, and +9.
