Good morning everyone, we are so glad to be here and we thank Tim for his incredible accomplishment of creating this site for all of us!!

Ivy has a vet (tech only) visit today at 10 am (eastern time) +4, for labs and a blood pressure check. I’m currently stalking her in hopes of getting a urine, too 🙏
I’m not fasting her, but I am about to give a dose of gabapentin to try to chill her out a little bit (it’s amazing how she is like a ragdoll when I put her in the crate doesn’t really stay calm while at the vet) 😩

All pawsitive energy and good thoughts for improved T4 results (and stable overall values) is appreciated ❤️‍🩹😻

We are sending Leroy lots of good energy as he’s been in the hospital for 2 days with pancreatitis ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹
Hoping he comes home today and feels much better!! 🙏

I’m trying to attach a photo but it says file is too large, I need to figure out how to reduce size of photos, will work on that.

Good luck today Staci! Does the gaba really take her out of it?

On the images - I did set a maximum size to help with storage needs. I think it was actually the default size. If it becomes an issue I can increase it, but imagine all the photos added up…
 
I live for Ivy photos, so I hope you can figure out the image reduction 😅 Could definitely see the images adding up, like Tim is saying for file size.

We will get results in a few days and I scheduled a time to speak with the vet Friday morning.

GABA makes her sleepy at home but not at the vet. They are always amazed how much “fight” she has, even with gaba (150 mg dose no less!)

And they said she was too angry to attempt a blood pressure today, so we didn’t get that done. Very bummed about that 😩

Just saw the note on the photos. So should we just not be posting pics in general?
I don’t want to put us over the edge just for “fun”.

We really appreciate the good wishes. She was done quickly today, but sounds like she was a feisty girl 😭

Hi Karolina, we were actually done very quickly today, but they told me she was too feisty to do a blood pressure check so that was a huge bummer 😩
Now I’m stalking her at home trying to get a urine sample, but she’s sleeping.💤
I think she has to sleep off with gabba effects so maybe tomorrow morning is my best shot and I’ll have to run it over there at some point.

Thanks for the positive energy, you know we need it with my girl. Hope you, Nestle and Peanut are doing great today.💖💖💖🐈🐈

Good luck today Staci and Ivy!! Charlie reacts the same way to the gaba--he's so chill and floppy getting to the vet and sitting in my lap in the exam room, but as soon as they take him out of my hands and start fussing with him he starts getting scared and growling. Such a mama's boy.

It feels like it's been a million years! I knew I really relied on the forum for support and loved getting to see everyone's updates, but I don't think I realized just how much it was part of my daily life now. I hated it lol

Well I am glad to hear Ivy is not alone in her gaba state (yet sorry you have the same experience, Jess). It seems the gaba doesn’t really do too much.
Then we come home and she sleeps like a zombie for the rest of the day 😭

Ivy is always so keen to show off her crafting!
Staci, there is one more step you can try when uploading an image. Once you have attached the image you will see 'insert' top left on the image thumbnail. Click that so that it shows the image full size in the body of the post instead of as a attachment.

Love this pic, Bell gets sooooo sleepy on Gaba. Best of luck to you both, I know how stressful the vet experience and the wait is for you. 🤗
