5-7 Leroy AMPS 141 PMPS 227

Response from the vet's tech to my update:

His BG wasn’t check before his PM insulin dose last night- I check with Dr and she said he had remained pretty stable with normal-high BGs, so there wasn’t a need to check before giving the dose last night. He was also getting only 2 units while in the hospital because 2.25 isn’t accurately measured. So long story short- the values you got this morning are… interesting.

So he was only getting 2 units while he was there 🤔 And he went scuba diving. More reason why one needs to always check BG before giving insulin. I may or may not hear from the vet directly later today.

Do I need to worry about bouncing later? BG, not Leroy😛. The gabapetin is making him uncoordinated 🤦‍♀️ He took a tumble off the bathroom counter last night after I put the eye ointment in. He wasn't fazed.

Typical PMPS. For once there was no mess that needed cleaning up when I got home 😲 He was still subdued but alert and hungry for dinner.

Here he is Saturday morning hours before he had p-itis. Totally fine and no indication he was starting to not feel well. Civvie is playing with his tail.

And after dinner tonight:

He was sleeping with his head hanging off the chair but woke up.

I was able to read a new PM on FDMB that was sent half an hour again but it just times out when I try to respond :( It wasn't anything important or urgent. Odd that sometimes it lets you read and maybe send PMs and sometimes nothing at all.

I wanted to see if there were still problems on FDMB and was able to reply back to a conversation , one of our members was asking if there was something wrong with the site. I was able to reply back , it went through but then I tried to reply back to a post and of course it didn't work . I'm happy that he's feeling better, love the pictures , he's so adorable

I feel bad about the newbies who joined just days before the boards went down. They're were likely not aware of the existence of the FB group. There are other diabetes boards out there but the advice given is questionable (saw a bad one on Reddit. Then there's whatever happens on YDC or whatever that board is now called). I hope FDMB is working again soon. Maybe Robert needs to add a second Admin person as a back up just in case.
