Butch had a steady yellow cycle today. Hoping to see some blue tonight.

He is back to normal pee amounts and not using the litter box so often. I spoke with the doctor regarding Butch's urinalysis.
It came back negative, no UTI. He said he's USG was 1.015 (low). We will continue to monitor him. I'll have the office email me the results to post on his SS.

Remind me, does Butch have a CKD diagnosis? One thing I recently learned about USG is that it can fluctuate, and you can test at home.

Hi Tim. No, Butch doesn't have CKD diagnosis. The vet said that Butch is getting older and his kidney function could change. What do I use to test his USG at home?

Someone on Tanya’s told me about it, called a refractometer. I bought this one just haven’t tried it out yet.
