Jude was only 90 this a.m. and then 69 at +1.5, so I had to leave him with some HC while I went to work. I left after my class and rushed home to test him at +5 and even with the HC, he was only 78, so I'm glad I left it for him. Diabetic cats are especially hard on the working folk! That drive home and back took an hour. At least I could do it, though. I know many cannot.

Have a great day everyone!

Are you considering a decrease sometime soon?
Hm. I haven't really been thinking that I would decrease, but now that you mention it, he is inching down a teensy bit. Unless he drops on his own (and he would have to drop below 40, which I will NEVER let him do if it's in my power), I think I'll let him ask for a reduction with the reduce when nadirs are 50 - 80 while staying under 100 for a week reduction option. That consistently blue AMPS number is keeping us from hitting that mark, though. I tried the a.m. +9 snack, but it actually made his numbers go up; it seems to work with the p.m. shot, though. Not sure why. Perhaps just the nature of the dawn effect.

I’m sorry it was such a stressful morning Mary, I can’t imagine how that must’ve been for you to have to leave him like that.
Glad he had carbs available and seems to be surfing Well. It’s so hard to have to leave the house when they are low like that 😻

I hope he has a calm surf tonight πŸŒŠπŸ„β€β™‚οΈπŸ˜»πŸ’•

Such a stressful meowning. Thankfully he stayed safe while you were gone and so good you listened to your gut and left him with some MC.
Hopefully it's a much more peaceful night.

You are describing my life, Mary! I feel like my weekdays are made up of small adrenaline spikes throughout the day. Gotta get her fed and shot. Rush to work. Sneak out and test her an a few hours later. Oh someone put a last minute meeting on my calendar and she's dropping low! Rush back to work and rush right back home. I am super lucky to be less than 15 min from work tho. I feel for you! You're doing great.

Wow!! I don't know how you or @Seth&Bell do it. I lose all ability to focus when Xander's lime (or headed to it) even when I'm right with him and can stay there. I can't imagine trying to get work done while it's happening.
