Yesterday

Last day before my trip. Leaving early tomorrow ✈️

Also is the sitter staying with him while you're gone? Or will she be coming in twice a day? How often can she test? Those are all things I'd consider as well.

He's a wee bit higher today. And nothing under 80. Eating, drinking and behaving 100% as normal.
I'm feeling okay about leaving him with the cat sitter on this dose. Well, as okay as I think I can be as, while still being my over-thinking, over-protective self !!

I'm 95% certain all will be fine (anti-jinx 🤞🍀)
The sitter will be moving in for the ten days, not just visiting twice a day. She's very conscientious about his care and I have left copious notes.

I have suggested that she pop on here if she has any questions or panics, especially at night when she might not be able to reach my friend who is acting as backup, or take him to my primary vet. So please help in the unlikely event that she does. Spreadsheet won't be updated in my absence though.

Hope all the the kitties stay well and surf safely in my absence 💚
 
Hi Helen,
That's awesome that the pet sitter will be living there with Noogi during your absence. That makes me happy and I would love that for my boys if I was to go away for longer. Seems you prepared for this trip very well and you're leaving the sitter with all the tools and advice she needs. I'm sure everything will go well.

It's looking like a good vacation dose and it's great that the sitter will be staying over. We were also able to find a vet assistant who could stay at our place when we traveled and were glad that the kitties wouldn't be alone.

Noogi is so lucky to have such a prepared mom and such a dedicated sitter! Sounds like he'll be in great hands. Enjoy your trip!
