Phoebe's little pancreas is working! She bought a dose reduction! 🎊

The heat is a bit much and she lays on the floor most of the day.
I found a small litter box and put it in the corner of the front door.
She pooped in it!. Total goodness. She is just traumatized at the other kitty litter.

On other news, found a new home finally to rent temporarily till a home comes up. slowly getting things ready to sell and move.
Don't want to freak out the kitties. Should I have them all to the vet before? I do know a vet out where I am going.
I think momma kitty is due for rabies/distemper. But they are going to still stay inside. Maybe move first and then eventually see vet

Congrats on the reduction. Unless you have concerns you need addressed or they are due for a visit I would not take them before the move. My cats are indoor only and do not get any vaccines. Unless required where you live why give them? Rabies not required where I live.

Congratulations on the reduction for Phoebe 💕
Good luck with your move 🤞

I agree with Elise, Ivy is indoor only so I don’t do vaccinations either.
😻💕

How often is your vet saying vaccines are needed? My vet always stopped at age 10 or if any illnesses and now no more often that every 3 years. I can understand some states require rabies but anything else should be your choice.

This is enlightening. My vet insists if they are going to care for the cat, they need vaccines.
I will be moving soon and they will get a new vet. I will be asking these questions as I don't think they need all the vaccines as they are inside.
Phoebe just was vaccinated in March--she is 14.
Momma kitty got a 1 year rabies. I asked why only 1 year as she is an indoor feral and has high anxiety to go to vet. She said she will do the 3 year next time. She is 8 years old and I don't believe I will take her in again.
