Sorry we missed yesterday - it was such a hectic day with his cardiologist appointment. Binx was a perfect angel while at the vet - I'm very lucky that he's generally pretty calm. We're waiting to hear back now and I'll update everyone when we do!

We decided to increase yesterday back up to 2.75 - looks like we're already seeing a bit of a come down, which is great. Unfortunately though, we had a fur shot this morning. I'm actually going away Friday/Saturday night, so I've had a friend with me this week learning the ropes. She has had cats of her own and I'm thankful she offered to learn everything. This morning she did her first dose, while I was around, and that's where the fur shot came in. I can't blame her, I remember learning and how unsure I was. My pet sitter is on standby in case tonight also doesn't go well. Of course, now I'm extra stressed to leave Binx, but this weekend trip isn't for me - it's for a friend and I need to be there.

We're also putting a Libre sensor on so I can monitor while I'm away. Paws crossed that goes well.

Hope everyone had a good Thursday, has a good Friday and then a good weekend! As I'll likely be offline all weekend, hope everyone has safe surfs!! 🤗 🥰

Glad to hear that Binx did well at the cardiologists! Jude is generally pretty good at the vets too, and it's a relief that they don't have to fight with him to get things done. It will be interesting to get their report.

I hope everything goes well with your trip this weekend and with Binx and the sitters. Fingers crossed for a calm, safe couple of days for him and for an enjoyable time for you.

Thanks, Mary!! 🥰 I've never seen anything or heard from a cardiologist so I'm very curious as to what their report or info looks like!
Glad Jude's a calm boy at the vet too. Hope you two have a lovely day 🤗

So glad the vet visit went well, Briana! 😻
Good luck this weekend, I’m sure Binx will be fine! And good luck with the Libre!
Safe travels 🥰❤️‍🩹💕🐈‍⬛
Thanks, Staci!! 🤗 It's applied, phew - now just waiting to see if it goes online after the hour.
Question - for the tegaderm, you mentioned poking a whole in the centre. Is that where the Libre has that little hole? Hopefully, as that's what I've done.

We're probably feeling similar anxieties today--new Libre, a furshot, and going out of town! Paws crossed it's all uphill from here. :) Happy Friday!
I was just reading your condo from yesterday!!! Congrats on the successful application 😻😸 That's so so exciting!
What are the odds our days are going exactly that same haha - down to the fur shot and out of town! I always have to remind myself that fur shots happen sometimes, only up (or technically down) from here!
Hope you have a good weekend away and that Esse surfs nicely while you're gone 🥰🥰

So glad to hear that Binx did so well with the cardiologist! Hopefully only good news from there. When are you expecting results?

It's wonderful that your friend is willing to learn the ropes and take care of him while you're away. With the Libre, your friend getting some practice beforehand, and Binx's apparent calm nature, I think he'll be just fine while you're gone! :)

Love the pic of him with both arms in one sleeve lol

Thanks, Brianna 🥰 Hopefully next week, so I'm going to follow up Monday/Tuesday because no patience haha

Definitely feeling grateful to have her help! I know it's not possible for everyone and their kitties. She'll be sending me updates and pictures too, which is great.

Can't even believe I was able to get them both in the without noticing 😂

I hate waiting for test results; I don't have any patience either lol hopefully they have them sooner rather than later!

Yep, that’s what I do. I use a toothpick and just pry the tegaderm away from that center hole, sort of creating an air hole, so that area can breathe. 🥰
