Good morning, Staci! I'm currently on a work trip and stationed in a conference room all by myself until they call me ... what else to do but check in with my favorite cats and peeps at the FDMB?😊😻 LOVE this photo of Ivy speaking her truth ... she is a true beauty and gives new meaning to floofissima, which is the only word I can think of to describe her lusciousness. I'll take a page from @Angela & Cleo and ask you to please smoosh her tooshie for me. Many hugs to you! 🤗 🤗 🤗 🤗

I’m so glad you enjoyed the picture. My son actually took it and I thought it was great. She certainly speaks her mind, doesn’t she?😂

Thanks, Staci! 🤗 I'm keeping busy (lots on my plate this summer), but I miss my sweet Chispa all the time. Her picture is on my phone and her shrine is on the bookshelf, so I see and talk to her throughout the day. I probably sound like a crazy person, but I'm old enough not to care.😜 I miss the FDMB too -- you would think FD would be the one thing I wouldn't miss, but somehow that's not true. It felt like a privilege to take care of Chispa. I guess it proves the saying that this is "the best place you never wanted to be."

I've been to the local cat café and to the shelter a few times to donate food and supplies, half expecting a furry someone to walk up and say "Take me home." But that hasn't happened, and it's probably a good thing, with so much else going on right now. Things will calm down a lot after Labor Day, and I'll be at the shelter the very next day.

I hope all is well with you! You are doing a beautiful job with Ivy, as always. She is one lucky lady, as she would surely be the first to say.😻🥰❤️

Luckily you can keep your eye on her while you're working.

I’m glad you talk to her and she will of course always be in your heart. Of course it was an honor to care for her ❤️‍🩹

I’m with you about being old enough not to care either. And I do think we are all very co-dependent and like minded around here. So there’s a lot of great support and caring to miss.
So it’s lovely when you do have a moment to stop by to visit your old friends 💕😻💕

That’s so nice that you visit the cat cafe and shelter when you can. And I’m sure one day the “right” kitty will make themselves known to you 😻
That will be one lucky cat to find you for their mama 😘

Ivy and I are hanging in together and fighting the good fight every day. Hoping to give her the best care I possibly can.

Hi Karolina, she has been very busy today. Had a few extra snacks for stable surfing 😘
