7/3 Esse AMPS 129

Previous thread!

Today is new Libre day! Once again we've gotten the full 14 days, which I still find incredible. (Vet: 0 for 2, Lauren & Sam: 2 for 2.) We will be following @Brianna & Xander's instructions again as usual--it should totally be added as a sticky somewhere on here. The only modification we've made is that we split the process up over about 24 hours... last night during his dinner we took off the vet wrap and swapped it for a shirt (easier access), this morning during breakfast we shaved the new spot and re-buttoned the shirt, and this afternoon we'll make him a high value snack and do the skin prep/apply new Libre/remove old Libre part. If that goes well, we'll apply the wrap right away after it all dries, but if he's getting antsy we can leave the shirt on and do the wrap during dinner. All the same steps, just spread out to give him time to decompress as we go along. Just sharing in case it helps anyone else who's considering a CGM!

I’ve been putting together some blogs for the main website (to help us find more cats), and Brianna and Staci helped me write this one. All their steps are copy pasted in there, and some good links at the bottom. Getting Started with Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs) for Diabetes Cats - Feline Diabetes
Yay, this is perfect! Nice work, all three of you.

Nice pre-shot numer.
Can I request to see a photo of Esse wearing his shirt???? Im sure im not the only one who'd love to see that plus I'm pawsitive he looks absolutely adorable.
💕🐈🤗🐾🙋🏻‍♀️✨🥰
Here he is this morning being grumpy that I dared put a towel down in the dirty windowsill for him to sit on. 😅 You can see a hint of his signature stank-toof face as well.

I'm so glad that it was a helpful start for you and that you were able to modify it to better suit you and Esse's needs! @Staci & Ivy and I will always be the ones to completely understand when you have to do things a little differently in order to make them work for your own unique situation.

I’m also so happy to see you’ve devised a great system so quickly for all 3 of you! Great work. ❤️‍🩹
He looks so handsome in his purple tee shirt 💕
@Brianna & Xander did an incredible job with the details on installing a Cgm! And @Tim & Pookey did an incredible job compiling all the data into a comprehensive tutorial.

Safe surfing Esse! 🐈💕❤️‍🩹😻
