We've gotten some yellow today. I can tell he feels better. Hopefully, we're on the right track.

Yes, thank goodness, he still has his appetite. He is still taking ondansetron 2mg (1x/day) and maropitant 4 mg (1x/day). I would prefer he didn't take them but I don't want to take the chance that one of these bounces makes him nauseous and inappetent. And since we never know when he will bounce, better safe than sorry...

How are Grace, Richard and Marcus? Is that your whole gang (aside from all the outdoor kitties you help)?

Ondansetron can be given up to 4 times a day, and I suspect the 2 mg isn't doing much for him. Ondansetron dosing is 0.5-1.0 mg/kg of cat 3-4 times a day. If he's still in the 14 lb range, that is 6.4 kg. My 8 lb cat gets 2 mg.

Cerenia/maropitant dosing for the oral version is about 1 mg/lb of cat. So that 4 mg is also not doing much. He should be getting more like 12 mg (half a 24 mg tab). My Neko was also underdosed with the nausea meds, but the studies on what dosing should be have come out since her time. Not all vets are up to date on this.
