It's over. I will likely never know what happened, but living as he was was insupportable and allowing more procedures, after all he had been through, was as well. Thanks to Lap of Love, it was quiet, gentle, and respectful. Jonah went out resting on my foot on the couch--his happy place. After a week of essentially never resting, he is finally able to.

Thank you all for the information amd support. I will be posting lots of supplies in the appropriate forum and I hope they can help other kitties.
