Just got the urine test results back.
Urine specific gravity is 1.025.
It says urine creatinine is 166 mg/dL but that's got to be a typo, right? If it's supposed to be mmol/L, that converts to 1.88 mg/dL which is more in line with what I'd expect. Unless there is a different creatinine range for urine tests?
Urine protein/creatinine ratio is 0.1.
Vet says he is Stage 2 kidney disease and is suggesting renal diet and Hydracare which is all new to me. I just want to make sure I fully understand before I go crazy lol.
She is comfortable with a dental cleaning based on his current state, so I'm going to look into scheduling that.
Appreciate any of your thoughts or guidance. I am dreading the deep dive into CKD...
