Ongoing Dose Changes For George (06/21/2025)

Thank you, how’s apt hunting going, any luck?
yes and no. Ive seen a few, there is one I really like and the price isn't as bad as some of the other places, you really get bang for you buck with it...but its in a sketchy part of town.. everything else I've see has be overpriced for something that wont fit all of my belongings. I'm seeing a couple more places next week but I'm not sure I'll find anything better

Looks like he’s broken a very short bounce with that blue and will probably hit green today. He should be fine as long as you loaded his auto feeder.

So I work today, at 5. I'm testing/feeding him one more time before I leave at 330. His numbers are high this morning. His PMPS last night was 6.7 so I only have him 1 unit instead of 1.25. I gave him full does this morning ing

I would have shot the full dose last night because on the evening of 6/18 his BG was 130 and you shot 1.5 so I think with a BG of 121 PMPS you would have been okay with 1.25. Just an observation. It probably would have kept his AMPS from being so high.

I hope your shift goes well tonight. 😊

That’s why the sad face
It’s okay. It’s a process— a marathon and not a sprint. Sometimes when it’s late in the evening and you’re tired and you aren’t sure what to do you aren’t thinking things through as much as you would be during the day or when you are well-rested.

It's also learning to trust yourself and you past observations. I did see the day I shot a 1.5 at a lower number than what I had last night but was nervous and didn't trust myself so I lowered it a little.

I'm of the mindset of being cautious... I feel like a higher number than usual is safer than a too low number. But that might not be the mindset I need

Well… not if we want to get him well-regulated. But it depends on your ability to monitor the cycle at certain points. I do think last night he would have been safe with the regular dose. We aren’t talking about being risky here! Talk to you later! 😊

Yes. It's definitely better than the purples. But he was in blue and green a week ago.
Our cats enjoy keeping us on our toes! As long as you get to know George’s patterns the better and easier to regulate and you can learn how to navigate low numbers without medium or high carbs, don’t be discouraged, you’re doing great with all you have on your plate, and George knows it

Let’s sit tight and see what happens. You just increased and sometimes you get unexpected numbers with an increase initially. If he is bouncing we don’t know what from (don’t know what he did last night, but I doubt it was anything too low.

A bit of stability even though is yellow, but I began to see a pattern, that’s good, but as always Suzanne knows best

We really need to get a few tests on him. The last few days there’s not even a +2 or +3 or a +9 or +10 (depending upon if you went in early or late.)
